Because Wymar is a Federal Credit Union, your account makes you a member-owner of Wymar.
Your low $5.00 membership requirement to open a share/savings account, gives you access to a wealth of financial benefits. Your share/savings account earns a quarterly dividend based on the average daily balance in your account and can be used as collateral for a Share-Secured Loan. Easily access your funds through our online banking portal, It’s Me 247, by calling our audio response teller service, CU TALK, at 1-844-219-0850, or by visiting our office.
Traditional IRATraditional IRA accounts allow you to lower your taxable income in the years you make a contribution. The funds in the account are only taxed when they are removed from the account at retirement age. Recent legislation allows early withdrawals for qualified life events such as enrollment in higher education or first-time home buying.
Roth IRARoth IRA are made from current taxed income and are not subject to tax deferment. Earnings are taxed at the time of withdrawal but all principal contributions are distributed tax-free. That allows you to access your contributions at any time penalty-free and with no tax consequences. If a qualifying distribution occurs, even the earnings can be withdrawn tax-free and penalty-free.
Coverdell Education Savings Account (ESA) IRAThese IRAs are designed to help families prepare for their children’s education expenses. Withdrawals are tax-free for qualified school expenses.
IRA Certificates of DepositProtecting your IRA in a Certificate of Deposit is a safe way to save for retirement. With IRA Certificates, you are able to earn more interest during a set term and know that your money is safe and secure.

Christmas Club Accounts
We can help ease the pain of holiday spending. It’s as easy as this: Wymar can automatically direct payments from your checking or share/savings account into your Christmas Club account on a regular schedule. Come October, the funds are distributed back into your account just in time for the holiday shopping season.
When you open a savings account for a child 6 years old or younger, we will deposit the first $25.00!Why? Because we believe in the importance of teaching your child the value of money at an early age. Opening a savings account for your child teaches responsibility and gives them confidence by learning how to manage their money and it also gives them the ability to earn interest over a long period of time.
Ready to open your child a savings account? All you need is to submit a new membership application through It’s Me 247 and a copy of their social security card. You’ll be glad you did!
Term Share CertificatesA term share certificate is a share/savings account that pays you a higher dividend in return for your commitment to keep the funds on deposit for a specified fixed term. With a minimum deposit of just $1,000, you can pick the term (from 3 to 60 months) that best meets your investment goals. Invest $75,000 or more to earn an even higher rate.
